Spring Break 3/22/17

Spring Break

My spring break was very relaxing I didn't go anywhere special, I just went to Columbia, Missouri and visited the University of Missouri with my brother. We spent the day up there downtown and hung out and then took a tour of Mizzou. The rest of my break I just relaxed and slept and hing out with my friends and family. I went to the pet store and held a bird and bought a lot of goldfish.

• What is an infographic?

An Info graphic is a visual representation of  a data table or picture. An infographic for example is something like a comic strips very little words but you still know whats going on.

• What is the purpose of an infographic?

The purpose of an inforgraphic is to show you something without having to just read a paragraph. its to be colorful and enjoying to read. Its purpose is to give you an educational way to learn in a different format.

• What type of information is best displayed in an infographic?

Id say the best topic in an inforgraph that Ive seen would be apple phones against android just because with today society you can see and understand what its saying and its a good argument all together.

• How can an infographic help convey your message to an audience?

You are saying your point of view and your also arguing another persons point of view. Its helps get your side out because whatever one has the most facts will be the one that stands out to people.

• How might you use an infographic in your class assignments?

For a paper if your writing about something and your assignment it to argue about it too then you take your side and basically put pros and cons. You say what is right and your opinion then you can argue your own opinion or you can find a topic just like it say how ones better than the other

• Which one was the easiest to join & use?

I think Lucid Press was the easier choice just because right when I opened it, I knew exactly what to do I wasn't confused and I found everything I needed and it was all right there.

• Provide 2 pros/cons of using both Canva & Lucid Press

Canva: Pros.. Lots of different designs, Can be used so any document
            Cons.. Not all of it is free, Hard to find tools
Lucid Press: Pros... Easy to find everything, Has all the documents you need
                     Cons...No open formats you have to redesign colors and format, Not as many choices

• In your opinion, which program created the nicest, trendiest documents?

I think lucid press made the nicest ones because its not hard to find the style you want and it doesn't take long to get exactly what you want the way you want it

• Which program provided the most "free" features?

Luci Press you chose the free account but it wasn't hard to find anything free most things were just lack of documents but you can always make your own.

• Overall, which one did you like the most? Explain...

I liked Lucid Press the best it was just easy to make what you wanted and wasn't confusing at all it also had lots of things you could make and I liked it better.
